I forgot something: You need the 2.6.14 kernel only for suspend-to-* support! It's (mostly) work. I think its a config problem of my system --> work on it!Hello iBook-G4 (Jul05) user,
i made some (special) packages for iBook's. If you have a new one (Jul05), then you maybe find this packages useful:
- a patched 2.6.13.4 kernel package for sound. The appletoch driver is also included.
- a 2.6.14-rc4 kernel package for sound and appletouch (both are supported in 2.6.14)
- alsa-*-1.0.10rc2 for sound (you need this if you want to have sound on your iBook)
- pbbuttonsd-0.7.2 --> this one has support for the appletouch driver
- recompiled gtkpbbuttons --> needed for pbbuttonsd-0.7.2
- powerprefs --> nice tool to manage pbbuttonsd
- powernowd for speedstepping (only 2 steps are supported on the iBooks)
I will upload in the next days. Any suggestions would be fine!
With Xorg682 there's no dri support for the radeon chips, but there's support for it in 690! So i will try to build the RC1-canidate.
