[SKRIVA] Rymdkonferens i Abu Dhabi

Fick nedanstående från min frånmin förordsförfattande kollega (till Mord på
månen), Niklas Järvstråt. Det torde inte vara någon på listan som kan närvara
på konferensen (såvida du inte är direkt inblandad i rymdindustrin, vilket mig
veterligt ingen SKRIVAit är), men det kan ju vara intressant som allmän
information.
Konferensen hålls alltså i Abu Dhabi, ett av de där emiraten vid Persiska
viken (del av Förenade Arab Emiraten). Just där förekommer mycket spännande
utveckling, styrt av goda oljepengar och relativt liberalt inriktade regimer.
Man bygger skyskrapor, har startat den inflytelserika TV-kanalen Al-Jazira
/stavn?/, man har byggt en konstfrusen skidbacke inomhus (tänk att åka skidor
en bit från en värmedallrande öken!) och nu då är man värd för den tydligen
första konferensen i sin genre, som skall handla om rymdteknologi och hur den
kan kommersialiseras.
