We're trying something different.
At our 4th March meeting it was suggested we trial holding our meeting after
the Sunday Police Museum lectures, so our many Sisters who are from outside
Brisbane have a double reason to travel in.
We'll also try a new restaurant for our meeting, and we have a discussion to
continue, which those unable to attend are encouraged to make comments online.

our meetings. Please bring 1000 words you've written to read out, whether just
penned on the train or something published last century, or come prepared to
discuss a crime book you've read, or an author, or an interesting crime article
found in the news.

. Jodie Lane's second novel is Transylvanian Knight, a timeslip adventure
featuring Vlad Dracula and Sultan Mehmed II of the Ottoman Empire.
. Debbie Terranova's new adventure, The Scarlet Key, features a cast of
unforgettable characters including reporter Seth VerBeek, a greyhound trainer,
a psychic tattooist, a retired art teacher with a shocking plan, and a handyman
who specialises in matters of the heart.

Please note, there is no requirement for members of Sisters in Crime Queensland
to become members of sisters in Crime Australia. However, our national
organisation runs The Davitt Awards plus the Scarlet Stiletto competition each
year plus a whole range of other events acknowledging and honouring our many
awesome female crime writers. The annual membership of $20 concession and $30
isn't worth committing a crime over in order to be part of a worldwide network
of female crime writers. Most of our Queensland Sisters are not current members
