[sib-access] using midi keyboard to input notes into sibelius 5

Hello and sorry for my many questiohns:
i tried to use my midi keyboard to input notes into sibelius, i tern
metronom on, but don't know how to record, if i play notes, i can't
tell sibelius teh exact rhythm values that i need. any help on how to
achieve this?
