Select the applicable measures, then press alt control shift 2, to actually
filter the selection to voice 2. Then press delete.

How do you completely delete a voice from a staff? I have been having
situations where I have two voices on a staff but now want to take out
entirely voice 2's music and have a staff with only voice 1's music.
I have tried deleting a voice 2 note which turns it into a rest, then
pressing delete a second time. I have also tried hiding the voice 2 notes.
According to sighted assistants, both methods visually remove the voice 2
material, but when I go through the passage with Sib Access info about what
I thought I deleted from voice 2 is still spoken out loud, so without vision
I don't really know that it's gone.
I guess I could try a workaround by filtering voice 1, deleting everything
in the bars, then pasting voice 1 back in - but probably I'm just not
deleting the voice properly.
