Dave, I also love the constantly-changing display names. They generate a smile most days, so thanks! Best wishes. I even change it occasionally to see if I get any comments, and usually do not. Okay, I had to install Sib 5.2.5 and Sib-Access on my laptop recently for a Jazz Piano class, and happy to report that it runs just fine on Windows 7. I do use the desktop keyboard layout, however, and since my Dell E6520 (again there it is, in my signature block) has a full numpad on it, it all worked very well. Except for that annoying little bug that was reported a month or so ago, where changing the ties or some note attributes did not report until moving off and back on to the note. I could never get that working on this machine. And as I recall it also does not work well on my DAW, when I'm using JAWS 13. So it is likely more due to JAWS than anything else. Perhaps Dan's ultimate completion of the new Sib-Access will clear that one up. We can hope. If you have questions about how Windows 7 works as compared to XP, then that's a topic for a separate message, so let me know if you're curious. The bottom line is that for what I want to do, there is no real advantage of switching to a Mac. I noticed by your email signature that you use Windows 7. I currently use XP, but would like to know more about the comparison, knowing that some time down the road I will need to update to that. Particularly, how does it work with Sibelius and Access?
