Hi,
1. Select the bars you want to copy With Control+Shift+Left/Right Arrow,
then press Alt+Shift+A to turn the passage selection into system
passage. Alternatively, press Alt+Control+A to invoke the Select Bars
dialogue, make your choices and, before you press the OK button, check
Make system selection.
2. For some reason, pressing Alt+Up/Down arrow after imputing a note
doesn't work. You have to do some kind of editing, like changing the
pitch or even exit the Input Note mode, before you can actually use this
shortcut. Regarding hearing the description of just one note of a chord,
the shortcut key is Shift+F5. In Sibelius 6 and later there is a
checkbox in the Preferences dialogue that controls whether the notes of
a chord are played individually or at once when navigating with
Alt+Up/Down arrow.
Hope this helps and sorry for the delay,
Alex

Hi,
I have a couple of selection questions that I've not been able to figure out.
1. Control copy. I would like to be able to control select a group of bars so
I can copy it and maintain time signature changes. Is there a way to do this
with the keyboard? I know a sighted person would press control then click in
the first bar, then shift and press in the last bar, and it would create a
double rectangle around the bars, but I do not know how to do this without
vision.
2. Selecting a note within a chord. Say I hear I have made a mistake with a
note within a chord. How do you navigate to an interior note within a chord?
According to my notes it's supposed to be alt + up or down arrow, but this is
not working for me. As a workaround I usually delete the notes and rewrite
the entire chord, but there must be a way to do this? I guess a related
question is how do you know which note of the chord the focus is on, since
the entire chord is sounded, and my experience is that you end up on
different notes of the chord depending on if you arrived there within the
same staff or by coming from a different staff.
