Annabelle,

The issue of majors and relative minors having the same key signature is
apparently engrained in me so that the speech is only a small
distraction. I'm mostly wondering why the discrepancy is happening at
all. The inconvenience is not worth a reinstall to me.

Checked - Email found in subject

That's interesting, because I've learned that a key signature can apply
to
both a major and a minor key. For example, 0 sharps or flats can be
either
C-Major or A-Minor. However, that must be confusing for you, that the
Major
Keys dialog is triggering the Minor Keys to be spoken. It's never
happened
that way for me. Perhaps a reinstallation of Sibelius might fix your
dilemma?

Subject: [sib-access] Minor Keys Spoken, Major Keys Checked

Hello Everyone,

When setting up a score, even though I've made sure that the major keys
radio button is checked, arrowing in both the sharp keys and flat keys
boxes
results in minor keys being spoken. According to the way accidentals are
defaulting, Sibelius is treating the keys as major. Only the dialogue
speech
seems inconsistent with the key. Any ideas as to what might be
happening?
