All, I have just realized that an offer to purchase Sib 7 and receive a downgrade to Sib 6 is not a standard practice, and *does not* result in owning both Sib 6 and Sib 7. It means that Sib 6 is offered in lieu of (instead of) Sib 7. So my previous gripe of being stigmatized for early purchase of Sib 6 is completely inappropriate. I apologize to Daniel and Avid for any aspersions or misrepresentations I may have applied to them. Their practices are fair and aboveboard and in this situation very kind. We now need to pay again to get Sibelius 7? Something's rotten in the State of Denmark methinks. And for those who also funded the development of the Sib-Access scripts via Paypal, perhaps we are actually paying thrice? Daniel Spreadberry, any comments? Ask yourself ... do I want to pay more or less for the same amount of software? At 02:18 AM 8/9/2011, you wrote: >paying twice. Is this a good idea?
