This is probably not the best list on which to ask questions as it is generally
populated by users of a product long out of date. Go to Google groups for
another Sibelius list which is more current. There is also a WhatsApp group.
That said, I can tell you that the most recent version of Sibelius works both
on windows and Mac under screen reader support. The support is equal on both
platforms.
You might also want to Google Sibelius and screen reader, or something like
that in order to get more information.

Hello!
I am pursuing a degree in musical composition as a visually impaired student.
I understand that Sibelius is relatively accessible with a screen reader.
Therefore I have a few questions about it. First of all, can the program be
used only on Windows or does it work on macOS as well?
Furthermore, I would like to know about the possibilities that the program
offers, with regards to writing and reading music, Braille support and the
quality of midi playback. I would also like to be aware of the limitations
of Sibelius. Are there any significant setbacks that I should know about?
I’m looking forward to your reply and am grateful for any assistance.
Best wishes!
Merilyn Jaeski
