Nearly a year ago I asked for help testing a frequency divider module, and 
several people volunteered to help. George T. responded first and the got 
the $0 contract :). George subsequently wrote up a detailed report on his 
findings:

including fmax, jitter, sample applications, etc.

I _thought_ I had posted a followup immediately after his report, but I now 
realize that posts entered through the Yahoo Groups interface fail silently, 
with no error :(
