I don't agree.

It's human to get heated and yes, it's professional to control it but let's 
not turn into robots.  I do not believe everyone keeps their cool all the 
time.  The list's admin rightly decides when things get out of hand and 
anyone can let the group know they think that is the case.

And I also think "being PC" is a load...  I concede that it is possible to 
publicly broadcast that a question or topic is believed to be elementary 
without letting me know that I am out of my league.  Hmm, but will I 
remember that?  Me; Probably.

Personally, when I get smacked upside the head I do my best to figure out 
how not to get hit,.. ever again.  Learning can be free, but remembering 
always costs something.
