Hi Joel, Yes, this POLE-ZERO model is supported in HSPICE transient time domain = simulation. I tried this previously with a different model that had LAPLACE = statements in it. I was told by Linear Tech this would probably not work in the = time domain.=20 The model I have now has POLE-ZERO functions like this: =20 G_1_1 161 pg POLE 161 pg + -0.5113259737 + -8.024176907e+010 0 + 1064165150 -9906054846 + 298211672 -6750230161 + 3400708536 -6577097876 + 727752505.4 -4935354629 + -8556525.328 0 + / + 1 + 1416036658 -9898181440 + 5.271741172e+010 0 + 1.421215765e+010 -7131900170 + 321756585.2 -6751551020 + 748855739.3 -4995138526 + 1.767690749e+010 0 =20 It is really an Hspice model and according the Hspice manual this format = is supported. The LTSpice manual does not show a POLE function being = supported so I am not sure if it even knows what it is. I do have Hspice but = cannot run it right now due to some licensing issues. But even if I could, will = a POLE-ZERO function work in a transient time domain simulation? If not = what good are these spice models? =20 Thanks - Joel =20 =20 ------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from si-list: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field or to administer your membership from a web page, go to: //www.freelists.org/webpage/si-list For help: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'help' in the Subject field List technical documents are available at: http://www.si-list.net List archives are viewable at: =20 //www.freelists.org/archives/si-list or at our remote archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/si-list/messages Old (prior to June 6, 2001) list archives are viewable at: http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu =20 ------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from si-list: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field or to administer your membership from a web page, go to: //www.freelists.org/webpage/si-list For help: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'help' in the Subject field List technical documents are available at: http://www.si-list.net List archives are viewable at: //www.freelists.org/archives/si-list or at our remote archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/si-list/messages Old (prior to June 6, 2001) list archives are viewable at: http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu
