Hi Joel,
Yes, this POLE-ZERO model is supported in HSPICE transient time domain =
simulation.

Subject: [SI-LIST] Simulated time doamin using freq domain models
I am trying to run a simulation in LTSpice using what I think is a freq
domain spice model supplied by a connector manufacturer.
I tried this previously with a different model that had LAPLACE =
statements
in it. I was told by Linear Tech this would probably not work in the =
time
domain.=20
The model I have now has POLE-ZERO functions like this:

It is really an Hspice model and according the Hspice manual this format =
is
supported. The LTSpice manual does not show a POLE function being =
supported
so I am not sure if it even knows what it is. I do have Hspice but =
cannot
run it right now due to some licensing issues. But even if I could, will =
a
POLE-ZERO function work in a transient time domain simulation? If not =
what
good are these spice models?

Thanks - Joel
