I'm terribly embarrassed to have to post a correction to my earlier post. I mis-read some test results and quoted the spec of a different product. The correct bandwidth of these probes is 1.5 GHz, not 3 GHz. The draft webpage has also been corrected. My sincerest apologies if anyone was misled by my mistake. Also, I have been asked off-list by many people if the probe can be used to make differential measurements, and the answer is no, at least not directly. The probe is passive, with a single signal pin and a series resistor. When touching your circuit it will behave like you've inserted a pickoff tee. Two of these could be used with an external diff amp to take differential measurements, but I gather that's not what most people are looking to do. Sorry again about the incorrect information. -- Steven Kan (p) 310-515-5330 x24 Pulse Research Lab (f) 310-515-0068 1234 Francisco St., Torrance, CA 90502 (c) 818-620-3062 mailto:steven@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.pulseresearchlab.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "Steven Kan" <steven@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <si-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, March 16, 2006 4:33 PM Subject: Re: Probe impedance effect at high frequency > Terence, > > We are about to introduce a 3+ GHz probe that should handle your 1.25 GHz > application just fine.
