We have recently written a paper/ application note on making S-parameter measurements using TDR/T equipment. The paper=20 compares S11 and S21 data from a PSPL 9 ps TDR/T source with data from a 65 GHz VNA. For reference, it may be found at www.picosecond.com/tdr/sp1/default.asp on the PSPL website. (Note, there will be a demonstration of this technique at=20 DesignCon 2004 in PSPL's booth #831.) This technique may be of interest since it can be used to measure differential S-parameters and non-linear S-parameters. In addition, it makes use of TDR/T equipment that can be=20 considerabley less expensive and more general purpose than a=20 network analyzer. Any feedback on the paper content and the measurement technique is most welcome. regards, Kipp Schoen Picosecond Pulse Labs=20 ------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from si-list: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field or to administer your membership from a web page, go to: //www.freelists.org/webpage/si-list For help: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'help' in the Subject field List technical documents are available at: http://www.si-list.org List archives are viewable at: //www.freelists.org/archives/si-list or at our remote archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/si-list/messages Old (prior to June 6, 2001) list archives are viewable at: http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu
