We have recently written a paper/ application note on making
S-parameter measurements using TDR/T equipment. The paper=20
compares S11 and S21 data from a PSPL 9 ps TDR/T source with
data from a 65 GHz VNA. For reference, it may be found at
www.picosecond.com/tdr/sp1/default.asp on the PSPL website.
(Note, there will be a demonstration of this technique at=20
DesignCon 2004 in PSPL's booth #831.)

This technique may be of interest since it can be used to
measure differential S-parameters and non-linear S-parameters.
In addition, it makes use of TDR/T equipment that can be=20
considerabley less expensive and more general purpose than a=20
network analyzer.

Any feedback on the paper content and the measurement technique
is most welcome.

regards,
Kipp Schoen
