Hi, I'm working on a software project that involves an IBIS editor and would like to get some feedback on what types of quality and verification checks would make good features in an IBIS editor. I have a list of things that I check/verify but would like to hear what other people do. What do people look at when trying to check the quality of an IBIS model? Some examples might be verifying that Vinh and Vinl are defined for an input model. Another example might be applying load line analysis to the pullup/pulldown IV curves to find the effective output impedance of a buffer. I would also be interested in hearing about what types of test load simulations people use to validate an IBIS model when there is not a SPICE model or lab data available for correlation. Thanks for your feedback!
