Sudhanshu
use the GEAR2 also called BD2 method. The trapezoidal rule does not
have enough
numerical damping and its high frequency attenuation is zero. The BD2
is a good method provided that your time step is small enough.

Subject
[SI-LIST] : HSPICE .option parametres forIBIS simulation

Hello ,

While simualting the IBIS models using HSPICE simulator,
I have seen some differences in output (for ex. Ringing is reduced)
with "TRAP/GEAR" options .

Can anyone tell me ,
Which option is to be used for the better accuracy of IBIS Model
simulation
??

Thanks and Regards,
Sudhanshu
