Hi,

This is not an EE stuff. It is something which can douse and resolve
some bad feelings.
This is more applicable to new and impatient members to a list forum
only. If some one do not agree, please feel free to post your comments,
personally, I can not justify or defend this posting but shall accept
your views as it is.

To all who seek absolutely clear but quick answers.
-----------------------------------------------------
1. Stay with your engineering objective of clearing your engineering
doubts. Si list educate you in one way or other.
2. Do not comment the response or read in-between lines.
3. It is better to send a personal mail or ask for a phone number to
talk. This shows respect and your sincerity in understanding.
4. Do NOT try to show your intelligence by asking questions on
questions, since you are interested in answers by showing innocence not
showing your ignorance.
5. If you are really confused on many different answers, then wait for 2
or 3 days, think it over and over. A quick response from poster also
shows a "less treatment" of answers on your side, whatever intelligent
you may be.
6. When you get a good answer in private communication, please post it
for the benefit of others and as a respect to the person
who helped you.

To all(sishyas) who seek gurus
-------------------------------
1. First of all you need to behave like a sishya (disciple)=20
2. You ask a question because you are not clear or confused, then just
because you do not understand the answer, does not
mean that the person who is replying is incapable of answering you the
way you expect.
3. Always a "good" question, whatever "basic" it may be, will get a good
answer.
4. Never try to certify a guru, because, you are still a sishya.
Otherwise declare/show that you are a guru in this field.
5. You are not a baby who can crib and complain for lack clarity. If you
do then, you are insulting the guru ( or atleast you drive a prospective
guru away from answering you). Judge him not.
6. You should have strong mind to take an insult and further more
stronger in not to reflecting it back.
7. A good sishya will eventually find a good answer if not a good guru.
8. A lot of Good gurus are available in this Si-list
9. Try to gain good impression from the guru not from the list.
10 You show respect, wisdom, and knowledge then your guru will show
knowledge, wisdom and respect to you.(see the order)

Some more tid-bits

The more you know, the more you know you don't know. Aristotle=20

I have never let my schooling interfere with my education. Mark Twain
1835-1910

There is nobody so irritating as somebody with less intelligence and
more sense than we have. Don Herold

New Knowledge comes when you simply bear in mind what you need to know.
Keep holding the problem in mind, and it will yield. Spencer Brown

It is what we think we know already that prevents us from learning.
Claude Bernard

Say oh wise man how you have come to such knowledge? Because I was never
ashamed to confess my ignorance and ask others.
Johann Gottfried Von Herder, critic and poet, (1744-1803)

The road to wisdom? Well it's plain and simple to express: Err and err
and err again, but less and less and less.=20
Piet Hein, poet and scientist, (1905-1996)

For me, words are a form of action, capable of influencing change.=20
Ingrid Bengis, writer and teacher, (1944- )

To accuse others for one's own misfortune is a sign of want of
education. To accuse oneself shows that one's education has begun. To
accuse neither oneself nor others shows that one's education is
complete. Epictetus, Greek philosopher.

Knowledge is a process of piling up facts; wisdom lies in their
simplification. Martin Fischer:=20

Senthil
