We should also add here ICXPro (ELDO/ADMS) simulator from Mentor Graphics that allows pre-fit & post-fit passivity enforcement. In this tool, passivity enforcement is not based on Hamiltonian matrices but on another approach that can cope with large passivity violations and allows individual choice of poles for different matrix components. Since ELDO/ADMS combines the functions of fitter and simulator in one, it does not need to generate spice-format model. Instead, it generates re-usable table of poles/residues that is used for simulation directly instead of the original Touchstone data file. -----Original Message----- From: si-list-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:si-list-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Ray Anderson Sent: Monday, September 20, 2004 6:21 PM To: si-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [SI-LIST] Commercial S-Parameter to Rational Approx Spice Model s/w As a follow-on to this morning's messages regarding commercial spice model generators enforcing passivity here is a short list of commercial s/w that has SI application that I've just updated.
