Thanks Mary...as a new member of the WDA, if more members are like you we
should all be okay....the need to trash American GSDs, Ice Cream,
Toyotas, Democrats, Religion or what ever is usually a strong sign showing the
insecurity, jealousy, or down right ignorance or the person or group doing the
trash talking....ya don't like American GSDs.....don't buy one...do what ya
like , do what makes you happy......I have been labeled as aloof earlier in my
youth...lol...the tag did not bother me...it's just that I don't care what you
do...as long as it does not interfere with my rights to do as I wish......Ed

I find a need to comment at this time. Â The Facebook page that the FORMER
president of the GSDCA-WDA and the owner of that page, is NO longer a WDA or
GSDCA member.  Posts on this page do not represent  the membership of the
WDA. Â That page is very misleading to the average reader. The title of that
page, GSDCA-WDA, has no affiliation with either organization. Â Danny Spreitler
is the individual that controls that page.. Â He is now a member of United
Schutzhund Clubs of America. Â It is no secret that he is not a lover of the
WDA or the GSDCA. Â Some of the people that post to that page are members of
the GSDCA-WDA. Â That HANDFUL of people do not speak for the membership of the
GSDCA-WDA. Â The board of the WDA wants to work with the GSDCA on putting on a
first class event for the 2013 World Trials.

 In my opinion, the purpose of that facebook page is to continually attack the
new leadership of the WDA and stop these two organizations from working
together for the betterment of our breed. Â The easiest way to stir up the
members of the GSDCA is to attack the American Bred dog. Â I'm a member of the
GSDCA for 34 years, I've owned and bred many Champions, ROM's, and two Selects.
 I am also now seated on the board of the WDA as a General Director.  To this
day I own American Bred dogs and Imports and this is not the feeling of the
people I associate with. Â

The GSDCA is the host for the 2013 World Trials and the WDA members are working
on this event because they are more familiar with the sport of schutzhund
competition. Â To not attend or offer to assist on this event injures the
GSDCA. Â Dan Yee, who is the President Elect of the WDA will take office in
January. Â He is also the chair of the 2013 World Trial and working closely
with the incoming President of the GSDCA to make this a premier event. Â This
event is not about American Dogs vs Imports, it is about the best working
schutzhund dogs in the world competing for their countries. Â
