[ SHOWGSD-L ] season's greetings, and where are the dog shows?

Ok, folks, here I go again.
Time is running out to enter the Orlando shows. You know you want to come.
Where else can you show off your quality dogs, without all the hubbub of a
National?
I heard a rumor that no one wanted to come because everyone comes. Now that
just does not make sense to me.
Having dogs come from far afield just means that you have a better chance of
seeing dogs from places you don't get to. It does mean that some will not win,
but if winning is all there is to dog shows, we can all just stop now.
This is supposed to be fun for us, and it is more fun with more people. It
is more fun with more dogs to look at.
Regional competitation is great, but bringing the regions together, in warm
sunny dry Florida, well, it is just fantastic!!!!!
So, now that you have decided that you are indeed coming, please oh please,
get your entries in now, it is the holiday season and mail can be slow. Two of
the clubs have Paypal accounts you can use for on line entry, so there is just
no reason to wait any longer.
Before you do that last trip to the mall for gifts, take a few minutes and
fill out those entry forms, and get them in. Time is running out!!!!!!
And then, when we are all in Orlando, you can fill out your entry forms for
the February Ft Lauderdale and Miami shows. I will be in Orlando for most of
the shows, I have to be home before Wednesday, but I will be helping out any
way I can while I am there. I have no dogs to enter, that will be next year.
But I cannot stay away, any more than you can!!!!!!
So, enter now, enjoy the holidays, and let's all plan on a great long weekend
of shows, and temperament test on Sunday.
We all love our dog show family, and this is another big reunion!!!!
