Can you read English? ALL ADS ARE NOT NECESSARILY STUD DOG ADS. What are Memorial ads selling??? When a dog dies, I guess some want to know his pedigree so that they can say, "Oh, of course he died....he goes back to Lance, and ALL of his progeny died!!" Announcing that my dog is free of the long-coat gene is FUN!! As my ad says, that IS what it is all about, right? I left out the DNA results from The Canine Genealogy Kit. For FUN, I have one certificate that says all of Harley's ancestors are GSD's and another one that says all of Charlotte-Jo ancestors are Chihuahuas. (I sure hope the lab didn't mix the swabs up!!) Would you demand that I put his Ancestry Cert on a page in the Review for you to look at and so that, 40 years from now, someone will appease their curiosity at your expense? Send me your credit card number and I will do the ad your way. His DNA, as well as Diana's, has also been donated to a couple of research facilities for health-related genetic studies. When Diana died, I sent the vet's report to the facility so that maybe someday they will see something in her DNA that will help........TAA DAA!!! BREEDERS!!! Imagine that!!!!! How many of your dogs have you offered up for that? How much money have you donated to any of these projects? The science of DNA testing absolutely fascinates me. I would probably make a much better breeder than many who make their living at it and routinely use no testing at all, or, sometimes, altered test results. Funny that YOU should mention OFA!! Much of what I write is sarcasm, ironic humor, self-deprecating humor, or, my favorite lowest form of humor, puns. Thank you so very much for your best of luck wishes. Heaven knows that we ALL can always use some of that!! I accept your apology, also. Thank you, again. Announcing your dog is free of the long-coat gene would be of interest to people looking to breed their bitch - certainly not as important as OFA hips & elbows; but . . . why even test for this gene ??? And, I'm sorry you took such offense to mine & everyones' comments about pedigrees - actually, I hadn't even noticed your "inside back cover" ad until you started sputtering. Best of luck with your beautiful dog. Iza Kabuska http://www.Karizmashepherds.com ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2009.
