I thought that all colors were acceptable except white. Strong colors are
preferred, and washed out colors are to be faulted.
I didn't mean to argue, so here is the Standard.
"The German Shepherd Dog varies in color, and most colors are permissible.
Strong rich colors are preferred. Pale, washed-out colors and blues or
livers are serious faults. A white dog must be disqualified."
It does not say what colors are not permissible, except blues, livers and
whites. So, a mixed color, or a new pattern, under our standard, is
permissible, I guess.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.
