*Even with small regional entries, there is still a good size class at
the National. And that is where the Victor and Victrix are chosen. I
believe that regional clubs need to select judges and show sites very
carefully, or their entries will suffer. Weather is always a factor.
As ROM chair for sires, I have not given ROM points for the regional
futurities or maturities for years, only at the National specialty. The
winners from each region have an equal chance there. Doris E
