Ok, but what other grains or products (chicken?) are imported from China for
dog food? They do not have a great track record for safety. Even if you
eliminate wheat gluten, there is no guarantee that the other ingredients aren't
contaminated. Remember the corn issue just recently? Not trying to sound
paranoid but just don't trust any kibble any more. I used to feed some of the
dogs kibble or half raw, half kibble. They all get only raw now. Raw isn't
for everyone, I know that. Home cooked meals are just as good. And, I have
learned alot about eggs today :-) I feed the whole egg, shell and all. The
dogs don't care about the green ring or if they are overcooked. But, I try to
cook them right so I can share the eggs with them, lol!

The Iams and Eukanuba dry foods don't contain any wheat
gluten either. Neither do the cookies - I checked everything
I had on hand when this started and tossed any product with
wheat gluten, whether it was on the list or not! I'm also
