So true.....I sold a male puppy to Mary Rose Donahue years ago.....I remember
being so excited when she told me her Dad was coming to my house to pick her
up...geez..I raked the whole yard, shined the whole kennel, gave all the dogs
a bath, hung flowers by the kennel door, etc. and then he didn't even get out
of the car. He rolled the window down about four inches and said "Hello"
when she introduced us.
Anyway, Mary Rose eventually got tired of being a dog person and brought
the dog back.....went back to NY on the advice of her step-mother, Marlo
Thomas,
and I assume is living happily ever after...
That was my big brush with celebrity...LOL...I'm with Sally....a loving
forever home is much better.
