I doubt that he cares about the standard, and I'm sure many folks who own GSDs
that look and act like GSDs don't care about it either...I get a kick out of
folks who preach to "The Standard"...the standard is what ever is winning, or
what ever the NEW trend is..A very well known breeder once told me that the
Standard is like a moving target.....most people in this sport that breed and
show dogs over a long period of time do it to WIN and /or to make a few dollars
( personal EGO is wrapped up in there too)...and there is nothing wrong with
any of the three...but please lets try not to fool ourselves...I was born at
night, but It wasn't LAST night....Ed Hill
