YIKES -- Connie, USUS & PETA would --- go wild over this one ----- Indeed,
one
of the Rightists, can't think right off, actually destroyed a bldg. at our
LSU Vet School a
year or so ago. It was awful, especially since the animals they were
SUPPOSED to be
helping were killed by their own hands at the time. Lab animals have always
been prone
to questions by a lot of folks. However, IF they are NOT put in PAINFUL
situations
it is true there is a place for this scientific research. Just about every
member of my own
family is a medical person -- Pediatrician, 2 nurses, Vet Tech. and more on
the way as
they mature. I guess it's part of life as we attempt to improve health.
There's a huge
facility here for research etc. but they use volunteer humans and will pay
them too.
The thoughts and feelings on this stuff varies daily. Norma no L (just
