I have a dear friend who has never bred or shown a dog one day of her life. You would recognize the name of the kennel whose dogs have been placed with her. One, I believe, was a CH and one or two others were fine GSDs. All were older spayed bitches. She is passionate about her dogs, their care, the breed and is a member of the GSDCA and devours the REVIEW. She follows certain pedigrees and definitely enjoys a good dog. She in Assisted living now and still has a GSD. She is not on "the List". Maybe not the norm but this kind of interest & concern for the club and quality of the GSD is great.
