Then someone said they changed the formula, or one or two of the top
ingredients and it went downhill

And how could it not? 1st ingredient is Fresh Chicken By-products. NOT In
order to "Extrude" a product to make a kibble the moisture must be removed.
When that happens it becomes MEAL...the 4th ingredient on the panel. The 1st
Fresh Chicken By-product meal doesn't even make the top 10 as it's over 50%
in moisture. The 2nd ingredient is "Fresh Chicken"...NOT...and the reason is
the same as the 1st...
So...the 1st ingredient is corn and the 2nd is CBPM that isn't neccessarily
the same as described in ingredient number 2. The AAFCO definition of CBPM
is beaks, feets, heads, and feathers not to exceed 10%.
Corn and CBPM as 1 & 2...yum...that's what I call quality protein.
