One year Tedi gave me a big screen television for Christmas, and I never
knew it. What she did was cut the entire back out of the Christmas tree, and
put the wrapped box behind the tree in the corner. I never noticed it, and on
Christmas day, after everything was open, she told me to look behind the tree.
I think the tree died the day it came into the house, but it never looked
dead.
