Ok, according to the AKC release: Who is Eligible for Gch points:
Dogs transferred to Best of Breed/Variety which according to their owners'
records have completed the requirements for a championship but whose
championships are unconfirmed( The showing of dogs whose championships are
unconfimred is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of show where a dog
completed the requirements for a championship according to the owner's records)
Kay is correct and I was wrong:
Winners Dog and Winners Bitch are not eligible for Grand Champion competition
regardless of the circumstances. However, their winning BOB or BOS will not
prohibit awarding Select Dog/Bitch to deserving dogs in the ring.
So, my bitch will NOT get those points. Thanks Kay for pointing this out.
It will take some time to get all this straigt, BUT, AKC did send out a pretty
good explenation for Exhibitors & Judges.

There is that little phrase that we see in list messages
every so often. "Pending AKC Approval". Until AKC says
that the bitch is a champion, she is not a champion, therefore,
ineligible for Gr. Ch points.
