I worked last evening and was sooooo thankful to get today off for the same
reason.
Worked Nov 1 last year and nearly lost my mind with screeching children!

When I taught 4th graders the day after Halloween was brutal! The kids were all
on sugar cocaine! Eating candy all day, they were as high as kites! One year I
told my kids if you eat too much candy you will get worms! The next day I get
an email from a parent who was NOT happy with me! I explained to her that I
told the kids I was joking! You have to be careful what you say to small kids
and women! THEY DON'T FORGET! .... my old school district is finally getting
smart! To day is a teacher work day , no school for students!...... anyway
every one knows worms come from feeding raw food! lol. FB
