You're hearing this story second hand, so it probably wasn't  told exactly as 
it happened.  First, if there is a reason to withhold,  withhold away.  
(Shame on an exhibitor for showing mediocre anyway). I  highly doubt the judge 
made 
the dysplastic statement they were credited  with.  Anybody who had been 
around dogs longer than 15 minutes realizes the  stupidity of that statement.
