Getting to Del Mar is just as easy as anywhere else these days. With Los
Angeles International (yes there are traffic problems just as there are at any
MAJOR airport), Orange County (John Wayne) (a tad bit better), Ontario
International (was recently there picking up a show judge and the place was
EMPTY! Literally so where I could sit at the curb and wait) and then of course
there is the San Diego International Airport.
Distance by time to Del Mar:
LAX - 2hrs to 3 hrs. depending on traffic.....and of course route as there are
multiple freeway access routes
Orange County - 45 minutes to an hour
Ontario - 2hrs to 2 and a half hours
San Diego - 45 minutes
I have not researched the current hotels, as they have changed from before.

are unlikely to revisit Del Mar due to the high cost
of the area, and the lack of ability to get there, by air , easily.

From what I have "heard" a location in Arizona has not been found and "they"
say California is too expensive and no one from the West Coast has come forth
with any locations for the show chair to check out. Don't know if this is all
true.....Just what I have been told.
