This was received from one of our adopters today....had to share because it
is notes like these that keep us all going here at Weeping Willow....you
all should be proud because your continued support has helped in some way
for "Annie"....(Judi was her foster mom for WW)...note about Annie....she was
surrendered by her family because they couldn't afford her anymore; she
came from an Amish farm, was approximately 4 years old with a very bad skin
condition.
Dear Pat, Judi, and the WWS staff,
I just had to let you know that our Annie (Gracie 2), who I was blessed to
adopt in November, obtained her CGC, and yesterday, passed her test to be a
canine patrol dog - along with me; which means we will walk the many parks
of the Lake MetroPark System, keeping an eye on things ( we are not in
harm's way), and I can't think of a better advocate for the GSD than Annie.
She is so sweet and gentle - time and again, from vet to trainer to anyone
else- they cannot get over her calm and noble demeanor. I wish I had a
picture to send, but she is the classically beautilful GSD - up 83 lbs, and so
pretty in every way. And Judi - we still have her little carpet piece that
you gave to us - she sleeps on it a lot.
I cannot thank you enough for the care that you gave her, and for bringing
her into our lives, and the lives of so many others!
