Ileana, if you're ever in Durham, NC, check out Bullock's BBQ. They have
fantastic BBQ and a "home style" menu. Their Cajun grilled shrimp is to die
for! Not only do they have awesome food, it's a celebrity hangout of sorts.
Once when I went in and ordered take-out, a man, who was sitting on a bench
near the cashier, moved over and beckoned me to sit down by him. I did so and
thanked the guy. When he said, "you're welcome" and asked how I was doing, my
mouth dropped open. I'd recognize that voice anywhere! The man beside me was
none other than Mr. James Earl Jones! I can think of no other word for his
voice but Magnificent! He was a very gracious man and we had an interesting
conversation about life.
To make this dog related... Our dogs are crazy about Bullock's grilled chicken
fillets and hushpuppies.

No dog shows for us this last couple of weekends.
So, we do the next best thing......we go searching for good food.
Our latest whim is to check out all the BBQ joints in this area. There is
Durham Best, in MD...they are good!, so good we went back a few times and
forgot to check out the competition. Once we focused <G>, we tried Frezz
o's Belly Rubbin BBQ. They are good too!! Their pulled pork BBQ sandwiches
are to die for.
(Obviously we are not worried about cholesterol....LOL)
To make this dog related: Frezzo's will cater or bring their equipment to
dog shows and cook for the club if anyone in this area is interested.
They are in Avondale, PA. They will feed as little as 20 people and certainly
more.
