I was just thinking the same thing as I looked at the Virginia Specialty.
I started showing in the late 80's early 90's and though there were not as
many being shown as Helen speaks of, there was still alot of competiton.
Maybe part of the decline is that we have lost some of the people who would
bring alot of the top quality dogs to the shows. It was always fun to see
who they were showing.And if you could win over one of their dogs well then
you felt that you had arrived.
