[ SHOWGSD-L ] Update on Mom

Well... Mom was discharged yesterday! It is absolutely amazing how quickly
she started to snap back once the doctors were convinced about the treatment
about the water retention and enough time for the antibiotics to clear out
the pneumonia. We went from Monday wondering if she'd ever get better, to
being surprised on Tuesday to find her sitting in a chair to Thursday she's
being transported to the home and being her chipper, sassy Grandma self. If
she keeps this progress up, she may come home sooner than the two weeks we
anticipate! The new hospital at St Anthony's in Gig Harbor was simply
wonderful and so were the staff.
