During the holiday season, we often pause to reflect upon our actions over
the past year; perhaps, it would be good to think about how we can begin
the new year in a positive and meaningful way.
2011 brought Last Hope, Safe Haven into many situations where beautiful
German Shepherds needed help desperately ... their lives depended upon finding
the funds to save them. Weeping Willow and other GSD and AB rescues have
used funds raised by Last Hope to provide needy German Shepherds with
everything from pull-fees from kill shelters to much needed veterinary and
foster
care to soft beds for seniors to rest their weary bodies. We were only
able to provide these much needed services because of your generous donations.
Let's begin 2012 by giving, once again, to our beloved breed. A postage
stamp costs 44 cents. If every person on this list would hand deliver 2 1/2 of
their holiday cards this year, each of you would save $1.00 on postage and
have the opportunity to see a friend's smile when you hand them your card.
Please, take that dollar, put it in an envelope and send it to Last Hope.
Together, we can continue to make a difference!
