[ SHOWGSD-L ] True Story-People are NUTZ!

I was talking with a friend yesterday and she told me that when she was
shopping in a local store (she is in a wheel chair fighting an incurable
cancer) there was only one of the items left on the shelf that she wanted;
someone helped get it off the shelf and sat it beside her wheel chair until
she
could get the stuff arranged in her wheel chair basket...a woman came over
and snatched it off the floor and said it was hers and she saw it first!!!
She proceeded to put it in her cart and took off to the checkout. My
friend was so hurt and was trying not to cry, an employee saw this happen but
she really couldn't do anything about it since it hadn't been paid
for....this employee called their other stores and found the item and arranged
to
have it brought to their store. I can't figure out how people can live with
themselves doing stuff like this; not only to any shopper but one that is
handicapped!! The store employee is the silent "hero" in this
incident...yes, it was just a toy but my friend was trying to joyously help a
little
girl's Christmas wish come true.....true story and people are NUTZ....
Give me these sweet senior GSDs, the gift of good health, some special
friends (I have no family left), a small Christmas meal and church -- to me
this is Christmas.....may all the wonderful people on this list have a joyous
holiday and a blessed New Year.
