Oh lord, bless me with a nose like that again! My solid black stud dog knew
exctly when they were ready, even from a crate inside the house and the bitch
was kennled outside. I came home one day and he DEMANDED to get out of the
crate, DEMANDED to go outside and went directly to her kennel. The last time
he'd seen her she wasn't ready, but somehow the next day he KNEW she was ready
and she was. He never showed much interest in a bitch in heat until she was
ready. And he didn't mess around when he went for it either. But then he was
trained by the best -- Inge came down for two of his first breedings. After
all the breedings to Bear, she knew exactly how to teach my young stud!
