[ SHOWGSD-L ] Tip for poor eaters

Hi all, there have been several requests for aid regarding poor eaters recently
and I happened to accidently stumble on this potential solution.
My dog has been off his food lately (never really what I would call an eager
eater anyway), most likely due to the loss of his BFF, the Devine Miss Em. I
have tried different foods and treats in the food and all of that
stuff....meager results! Well, I happened to remember that I had a bag of
Solid Gold Buckaroo Beef patties in the fridge (they are really old). I broke
off a very small piece of a patty and crumbled it up in his food and he went
nuts for it and snarffed up everything twice now.
A bag of the freeze dried patties is $22 at Petco. It seems like a lot, but I
only use a very small piece of a patty, so a bag will last a long time.
Anyway, for those of you with poor eaters, it may be worth a try. Cynthia
