This site appears to be selling dog statues.......I don't think they are
very accurate. Go to the menu on the left and look at the GSD........
"brown and gray" and 'gray". The statue of the setter looks more like
a "L iver Belton" or Tricolor English Setter.

Stormy showed me a picture of the spotted Irish. I have judged them in the
past. Maybe Stormy will send it to the List. I don't forward anything.

Are you puttin' me on??? <BEG> The only
"non-conforming"
color I have ever heard tall tails of is solid black or
black
with a very small amount of white on the chest,
similar to what a lot of modern
red Irish have today. I
would have to go back ***years*** into my
Setters-L
discussion group to find the several conversations I
remember from
over the years about the mythical "black"
Irish. If one would somehow appear in
a litter today,
after DNA checks to make sure someone didn't jump a fence,
it
would be considered a DQ fault and be quite the rare
specimen. ;)

>But,
perhaps a setter person could let me know if this was true.

I'm more of a
setter person than a shepherd person. Do I
count? <G>
