I checked the trophy on the cover of this recent Review with the photo of BOSS 
with the trophy 
in his photo and it is STILL the same Von Stephanitz trophy .......but this one 
has the handle broken 
off.      Really too bad.   
 Sometimes things happen and sometimes you just can't fix the problem at the 
moment and have to
do the best you can.....and I suspect that is what happened.   
The dog and the cover are beautiful!!
When they took the photos of our Grand Victrix Mar Haven's Black Orchid....NO 
ONE had the V. S.
trophy to even put IN the photo.    It is a common looking picture as a result 
with no Von Stephanitz 
trophy at all in the picture.    We ended up putting her moving photo on the 
cover because of that.
Had the Von Sephanitz trophy  arrived broken I would have GLADLY put the 
flowers closer on that 
side and still at least have that gorgeous Historic trophy in the picture of 
our new Grand Victrix!!!!

Regarding the Review.......what another disappointment of the size.    It is so 
small now I have to say
I agree with Kathaleen.  I don't understand the volume of mistakes either for 
such a small magazine.
ESPECIALLY with NATIONAL  photos!
Having had to complain about a couple of errors in the last few years I can say 
it never is quite the same
to see a correction of your dog mis-named,  completely missing or the wrong dog 
in the photo.... ( or..in
our case all three  problems over time....<G>  ) and then to  see the 
correction two or three months later.  
I suspect those of you who think it is "no big deal"  have not had it happen 
yet.   <G>

  Someone was kind enough to send me a scan of the front cover. I doesn't seem 
to me that the handle needed to be removed to balance the photo. It looks to me 
like the trophy has been broken. I know them pretty well because 
  i spent 2 weeks and went trough several jewelry cloths polishing it before 
the Oregon national.
  So the question is has the trophy been broken? If it has been I am sure it 
can be repaired.
