I've been told to "lighten up" on this matter. It's very serious
when someone ends up losing money over this, yadda yadda yadda..
The thing that concerns me most is that PETA may now involve
itself. My Dog, people...these pictures are getting spread all around
the dog world, because they are on the Internet! How bad an image do we
want, anyway?
I have to admit that if I'd been judging, I probably wouldn't have
notice someone running around the ring with a lion, never mind a
cat..........but the first person to get "hung" over this is going to be
the judge. The club may be fined. Whether anything happens to the
doubler or the handler, who knows? So the responsible parties may get
off scott free, and everybody else punished...why should I lighten up?
Nobody should lighten up...THIS IS WHAT WE DO FOR FUN, remember? And
people who do it for their living are putting it at risk? No lightening
up coming from here, sorry.
