Thanks everybody! I got my answer. The pup must have his individual
registration recorded at the time of entry. Bummer.

I want to enter a puppy in an upcoming show, but I don't have an AKC
registration number -- just the litter registration number. I should have the
pup registered by the date of show, but I know I won't have the # by the
closing date for entries. Can I still enter the puppy? I had heard that the
AKC no longer allowed this. True? (Tried calling the AKC today, but couldn't
get through.)
