[ SHOWGSD-L ] Temperament

Ok, here we go again.......
Talking to a friend today. She has a gorgeous GSD. Find out a handler is
saying this GSD has "soft" temperament, because the dog is not friendly.
Not aggressive, just not friendly. WTH????
GSD are not meant to be Golden Retrievers. I don't think is correct for
your dog to be jumping all over me, or going nuts over me like I have been
feeding him/her bacon.
Dont ask a handler if "so or so" dog has a good temperament, especially if
such handler has never even handled that dog. Go see the dog yourself.
