This subject is a hard one and you did a beautiful job presenting it Barbara.?
I think it is a topic that all of us struggle with and no one is wrong in their
decision.? I feel it is a very personal decision.? I beat myself up to this day
for letting one of my beloved dogs suffer to long, I kept putting it off
because of my selfish reasons, I didn't want to lose her.? I would look into
her flat eyes and old body,?she had no quality of life, she kept going for me.?
Finally, I couldn't take it anymore and I made that trip to the vet and before
she left she gave me a kiss which I believe she was saying Thank you!
The decision never is easy no matter how many times you have made them.? Its
something that each person has to decide what is right for them and their dog.
