I would not worry...
Since we moved to our current rural location, our dogs have killed a ton of
rabbits, squirrels, chip monks, lizards, mice, rats, birds, a coyote, and I
think a revenuer. I am afraid to dig up the various mound in their yard. Who
knows what we will find. There is a UPS truck drive missing from our area.
If my dogs can live through all this, I think the breed can survive on
almost anything.
We do have some lovely rabbit stew for sale!

Had a friend call me just now; her 3 shelties killed a small, young
squirrel in their yard and brought it in the house "headless"she thinks they
ate
the head since they can't find it....all dogs are UTD on rabies, etc. and
she plans to take them to the vet tomorrow....one has a small cut on its lip
but it isn't bad. Is she OK until she talks to her vet tomorrow? I don't
want to give her bad info. Thanks so much :-)
